‘Sambandha Chetana’ was held on 28/3/15 for which Mr. G.T. Devegowda was invited as the chief guest.

Sports Day Celebration

Sports Day was held in the school and the children belonging to 4 Houses (Paramahamsa, Sharada, Viveka &Medha) competed against each other. At the end of the day, House: Viveka emerged as overall Champions.

Educational Trip

Educational Trip was conducted for the school children to Vishweshwarya Museum & Planetarium, Bengaluru

District Level and Taluk Level Sports Meet

Students participated in District Level Sports Meet held in Chamundi Vihar Stadium, Mysore and won prizes.Students of 5th , 6th& 7thstd participated in ‘Taluk Level Sports Meet’ held in Oval Grounds, Mysore and bagged many first and second places in most events and thus secured OVERALL FIRST PLACE with a rolling shield.

Teachers Day Celebration

On the occasion of Teachers Day, students presented each teacher a sapling and were made to plant it in the premises of PCPS.

Trekking Excursion

School undertook trekking excursion for children under teachers supervision to Chamundi Hills, Mysore.

Independence Day Celebrations

Independence Day was celebrated in School Campus for which Mr.Ashwath Narayan Rao, Mrs.Gita Mahadevprasad and Dr.Kishore were the chief guests and tiny tots of PCPS sported costumes depicting various freedom fighters of our country.

Fervour of Patriotism; 15th August but prevalent always in PCPS.

Come August, and all are filled with a zeal and enthusiasm to express feelings of unity and secularism as we participate in the celebrations of independence.

To this effect, the celebrations in PCPS commenced with the flag hoisting by the Guest of Honour Mrs Usha Narasimhan, a prolific writer. The chief guest Dr Vidya Sagar congratulated the gathering on this National Day and asked the students to be patriotic in all their deeds. Mr Chitti Babu, Principal of PCPS confirmed the responsibilities that our children have inculcated.

The students and teachers of the four houses representing the great personalities Medha, Paramahamsa, Sharada and Viveka marched smartly . There was also a wonderful dance performance by the primary section. The dance performance encompassed a vibrant display of intense feelings such as sacrifice, patriotism and passion for our country, interspersed with music. The celebration did not stop at this but was infused with the school's first investiture ceremony, where the institution formally appointed the Students' Council. The newly elected students’ council members took the reigns of Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural & Sports Heads & four House Wardens.

This elite Student Council are the innovators, the torch-bearers, the leaders, the chosen few, upholding the values the school stands for. They are the beacon occupying the most coveted positions, providing direction to their friends and juniors, aiding the smooth governance of the school.

The head boy, head girl, house wardens, and various other councils marched crisply to accept their mantle of responsibility on this great National day.

The ceremony gave the parents a chance to develop a deeper appreciation for their children and greater respect for the school. The school extends its best wishes to the members of the council.

Prathibha Karanji-2014- Taluk Level

Children from both primary & higher primary took part in ‘Prathibha Karanji-2014- Taluk Level’ held in Vidya Vikas High School, Mysore and bagged prizes in cultural events. Many students from 2nd to 8thstd took part in ‘Prathibha Karanji-2014’held in Mysore and got various prices in events like singing (bhaavageethe, janapadageethe,), group dance, group singing (patriotic songs, bhaavageethe), storytelling, religious recital & quiz.

Cluster Level Sports Meet

Children took part in ‘Cluster Level Sports Meet’ held in Government Higher Primary School, Salundi, MysoreTaluk. They secured first and second places in most sports events including volleyball, throwball, kabaddi and athletics (relay, high jump, long jump and shotput).
